The Specialized Stumpjumper is a great riding bike but notorious for having its driveside chainstay pivot bolt work loose, damaging the threads and forcing you to replace either the front triangle or your entire frame.
Unfortunately, this pivot bolt uses a non standard thread so there are no off the shelf inserts to replace the damaged threads. Since we are not a fan of throwing away, otherwise good equipment, we decided to start making our own thread repair inserts specific for the Stumpy.
