Description
How Does It Work?
Let’s say we’re removing the outside 6803 (17x26x5) bearing from a Campagnolo freehub. First you’d select the 17mm bore extractor and the 26mm receiver cup. Then you set the bearing width to 5mm by moving the circlip to the correct groove on the brass collar. Grab yourself two 4mm allen keys, insert the tool into the bearing and tighten down the top bolt to expand the collet behind the bearing (this only needs 1/4 to 1/2 a turn). Next push the receiver cup up to the freehub and lock down the nut. keeping the 4mm allen key in the bearing end of the tool, tighten the 13mm (M8) nut with a spanner to extract the bearing. Job done.
This kit will work on hub, freehub and pivot bearings.
